Meet sunshine international primary school mathematician!!!
This is YAHAYA ABDULLAHI of Primary 5A. He and some pupils of primary 5 and 6 0f sunshine international primary school represented the school in the 11th annual national mathematics competition for primary 5and 6 organised by the Nigeria turkish international colleges(NTIC) and national mathematical centre. This competition was held on the 8th of february 2014. When the results was released last week, Yahaya emerged as the second best in bauchi state and obviously the best among his class mates. He also won for himself N10,000 and will represent Bauchi state in the zonal level in Kano on 1st march 2014. Yahaya could also get a 100% scholarship for his secondary school education if he emerges best in the zonal competition.
These are the names of the seven pupils who represented the school: Chille Mankillik, Adamu Sanusi, Yahaya Abdullahi, Aishatu Fateh Abubakar, Abdallah Kirfi, Suleiman Danfulani, Zainab Y.B Kirfi, Maryam Illiyasu, Oluwadara Olasoji.

Cake baking practicals by pupils of primary 5
On monday 10th march 2014, the pupils of primary 5B were taught how to bake cake. The picture above shows the pupils mixing the ingredients for the cake under the supervision of their class teacher.

At sunshine international school, pupils are not only taught the theoretical aspect of any topic, but also the practical too. Through that means the topic is cemented in the minds of the pupils and it gives them a clearer understanding of the topic.
